YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Frequently asked questions.

What is the difference between nano ceramic and colorful window film?
Nano ceramic describes a film technology. Colorful describes the reflective appearance. Colorful models may use different constructions, so confirm the technical data for the exact product instead of assuming every colorful film is metal-free.
Does a darker film always reject more heat?
No. Light transmission and solar-control performance are different measures. Compare the model’s VLT, IRR and available TSER data, including the measurement method.
Which film can I use on the windshield?
Choose a model specified for windshield use and confirm the permitted installed light transmission in your market. The film and original glass work together, so the installed VLT differs from the film-only value.
Will window film affect GPS or mobile signals?
Metal-free nano ceramic constructions are designed for signal-friendly use. Metal or sputtered constructions can behave differently; ask for model-specific guidance for your vehicle and devices.
Why does colorful film look different in different photos?
The reflective color varies with lighting, viewing angle, glass and surroundings. Check a physical sample on the intended glass before choosing the finish.
How should window film be installed and maintained?
Use a trained installer and follow the model-specific installation and curing instructions. After curing, clean with a soft cloth and a film-compatible cleaner; avoid abrasive tools on the film surface.
What warranty is available?
Warranty length varies by series and model. Review the current regional warranty terms, covered defects, installation requirements and registration procedure with LBFILM before purchase.
