Terms of service
1. About LBFILM
LBFILM is an automotive-film brand and online store supporting drivers, installers, distributors, and automotive businesses. Our public contact details are listed in the Contact Information policy. The legal seller for a quoted business order may also be identified on the applicable quote, pro forma invoice, invoice, or agreement.
2. Eligibility and Account Security
You must have legal capacity to enter a contract in your jurisdiction. Information supplied to us must be current, complete, and accurate. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and for protecting your login credentials.
3. Product Information and Physical Samples
We work to present accurate product constructions, dimensions, performance information, colors, and finishes. However, screens, photography, lighting, vehicle paint, viewing angle, production lot, and installation method can affect appearance. Images are illustrative and are not a substitute for a current physical sample, technical data sheet, or written specification.
Before ordering a large quantity or installing film, confirm the product code, size, finish, application, warranty region, and compatibility. For color-sensitive work, obtain and approve a physical sample from the relevant production lot whenever practical.
4. Professional Installation and Use
Automotive film installation requires appropriate training, tools, preparation, environment, and surface assessment. The purchaser or installer must inspect the product and vehicle surface, perform compatibility tests, follow current technical guidance, and stop installation if a possible defect or mismatch is identified.
LBFILM is not responsible for installation errors, contamination, cuts, overheating, overstretching, inadequate post-heating, unsuitable chemicals, damaged paint, repainted or weak surfaces, improper storage, unauthorized product combinations, or failure to follow instructions, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Orders, Quotes, and Acceptance
An order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, reject, request verification, correct an obvious error, or limit quantities before acceptance. A checkout confirmation acknowledges receipt and does not necessarily constitute final acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we confirm the order for fulfillment, dispatch the goods, or otherwise state acceptance in writing.
Wholesale, distributor, OEM, private-label, and custom orders may require an approved quote, minimum quantity, deposit, artwork, color standard, specification, sample, production tolerance, and separate agreement. Those order-specific documents control if they conflict with these general terms.
6. Pricing, Payment, Taxes, and Customs
Prices and availability may change before an order is accepted. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude shipping, insurance, import duties, VAT, GST, brokerage, bank charges, and destination fees. The purchaser is responsible for applicable taxes and import obligations unless the accepted order states otherwise.
We may use payment processors and fraud-prevention checks. We do not store full payment-card details when payment is processed by an authorized third-party provider.
7. Shipping, Risk, and Delivery
Processing and transit estimates are explained in our Shipping Policy. For business orders, an agreed Incoterm and shipping document control allocation of freight cost, customs responsibility, title, and risk. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
8. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy. Custom, cut, printed, OEM, and altered goods have special restrictions because they cannot normally be resold. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights that cannot be waived.
9. Product Warranty
Warranty coverage is product-, market-, and installation-specific. Coverage may require purchase from an authorized channel, professional installation, timely activation, an electronic warranty record, proof of purchase, vehicle and installer details, maintenance records, and the product batch or roll identifier.
A product-specific written warranty or accepted commercial agreement controls its coverage, exclusions, remedy, duration, and claim procedure. Unless expressly agreed, a warranty remedy does not include installation labor, removal, reinstallation, vehicle repair, downtime, loss of profit, or other indirect cost, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
10. Reviews, Photos, and Submitted Content
If you submit a review, installation image, video, testimonial, design, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate another person’s rights. You grant LBFILM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, translate, adapt, and use that content for operating and promoting the brand, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may remove misleading, unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
11. Intellectual Property
The LBFILM name, logos, website design, product names, graphics, photographs, videos, documents, and other content are owned by or licensed to LBFILM and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No content may be copied, republished, sold, or used to imply authorization, dealership, distribution, or endorsement without written permission.
12. Prohibited Uses
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content at scale, interfere with checkout or security, submit false information, infringe intellectual property, use the services for unlawful purposes, or represent yourself as an authorized LBFILM partner without approval.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The store may rely on Shopify and other providers for hosting, payments, analytics, communications, shipping, maps, social media, and related functions. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Links do not imply responsibility for third-party content.
14. Service Availability and Changes
We may update products, specifications, pricing, website features, and these terms. We may suspend or discontinue a service when reasonably necessary. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights already established under an accepted order or applicable law.
15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and general information are provided on an “as available” basis. Technical recommendations must be evaluated for the specific vehicle, surface, climate, product, and installation. We do not guarantee that general website content will be error-free or suitable for every application.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LBFILM is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from website use, installation error, business interruption, lost profit, or lost data. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights relating to defective goods, fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury where relevant.
16. Disputes and Applicable Rights
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern promptly. The law and dispute provisions identified in an accepted quote, invoice, purchase order, distribution agreement, or other contract apply to that transaction. Where no separate provision exists, applicable law and the competent courts or authorities will be determined under mandatory conflict-of-law and consumer-protection rules. Consumers retain any mandatory rights of their place of residence.
