A retro Toyota Crown bridges traditional Japanese sedan styling and contemporary LBFILM graphics in a cream-and-orange exhibition build.

Retro Proportions, Contemporary Graphics

There is a visual confidence to a classic Toyota Crown: its square headlamps, upright grille and long, almost architectural side profile. Instead of hiding those defining features, this LBFILM project uses them as the foundation for a modern branded livery.

Cream-colored panels keep the silhouette timeless. Orange lines frame the hood, roof and upper body, while bold black typography adds a more contemporary voice. The look sits between classic Japanese car culture and the graphic language of modern streetwear.

A Side Profile Built for Recognition

The side of the Crown is the central design surface. Oversized LBFILM lettering, the LIVE BEYOND message and XTHIRTEEN references extend across the long doors and lower body. Spoked wheels and a low stance reinforce the vintage custom-car feeling.

The front remains simple by comparison, relying on the grille, lower spoiler and hood lettering. These contrasting areas make the visual identity legible at both close range and from across a booth.

When a Car Becomes Part of the Booth

During its exhibition display, the Crown appeared alongside LBFILM flags, brand graphics, apparel and a visitor reception area. The car was more than an isolated product shot: it formed a focal point within a complete physical brand environment.

The accompanying photographs capture doors-open presentation, visitor conversations and multiple views of the car within that space. They help tell the story of the project beyond the design board.

Beyond the Film

The Toyota Crown project demonstrates a different route to a memorable wrap: pair the attitude of a classic sedan with a deliberately simple color system, then let the branding and surrounding culture complete the story.
